Washington offers junior RB 

Washington recently offered one of the top junior running backs in the Golden State. Craig Lee (Redlands, Calif.) is a dynamic athlete and will be among the top prospects out of California next fall.

“Washington offered on Friday,” Redlands assistant coach John Peale said. “He talked with Demetrice Martin, who made the offer, and Craig is really excited about it. They like him as a tailback and kick returner, and he’s an explosive athlete who is having a great season for us. Last Friday, he had a 91-yard touchdown run and that’s his sixth touchdown run of over 75 yards this season.

“He has the frame to add some bulk and he doesn’t have hardly any fat on him at all right now. Right now, he’s mostly a speed guy but he’s learning how to run between the tackles. He has great field vision and can see the lanes in front of him. He works very hard in practice and in the weight room, and is really improving his catching ability out of the backfield.”
