OG Ueli-Fa'atoalia is slowing things down

Things are happening fairly quickly for offensive lineman Spencer Ueli-Fa’atoalia (La Mirada, Calif./La Mirada). The 6-foot-3, 295-pound guard transferred to La Mirada from Lakewood (Calif.) after his family moved and the big lineman was faced with the challenge of acclimating to a new school and team for his senior season, as well as jumping into the recruiting process.

His highlight tape was sent out in July, and fewer than two months later, Ueli-Fa’atoalia has already seen the results. Alabama State, Hawaii, Nevada and New Mexico State extended scholarship offers, with several other programs showing interest.

“All the other have come in since I got here and I’m really grateful for that,” Ueli-Fa’atoalia said of the transfer. “The move was kind of hard, but it went smoothly. They were really welcoming.”
