The Duke Blue Devils reached across the country on Wednesday to pluck a talented tailback in Joseph Ajeigbe (Norco, Calif./Norco) from Southern California.
Ajeigbe maintained throughout the process that academics would play a big role in his decision, so his decision to commit to Duke didn’t come as much of a shock. The 5-foot-8, 211-pound tailback selected the Blue Devils over offers from Air Force, Arizona and Northwestern.
