LAKEWOOD, Wash. – As Marquin Russell prepares for his senior season, he thinks about the man who shares the same name.
The 6-foot, 180-pound receiver (Lakewood, Wash./Lakes) knows his father won’t get to see him play this year, because the elder Russell is in the Army and deployed in Afghanistan.
“He’s going to miss my senior year, but I’m going to do good things for him,” Russell said.
