CB Kahlil Dawson commits to Portland State

Kahlil Dawson liked the location of the campus. He liked the coaching staff. He liked the opportunity that playing at Portland State presented.
But, before he gave a verbal commitment, he wanted to make sure his family understood the decision he had already made.
So, the 5-foot-9, 160-pound defensive back (Graham, Wash./Graham-Kapowsin) joined the rest of his family in an early Monday morning road trip to Portland, Ore. to meet with head coach Nigel Burton and the rest of the Vikings’ staff.
