For Elijah Qualls, the recruiting process didn’t stop when he gave a verbal commitment to Washington last week.
After he helped orchestrate a seven-player commitment event during the Huskies’ Rising Stars Camp, the 6-foot-1, 285-pound defensive lineman (Petaluma, Calif./Casa Grande) is now trying to see if he can help land a few more recruits at The Opening.
“I want to get great players to play with,” Qualls said. “Until we get all our scholarships filled out, I’m going to keep recruiting. I’m asking around, seeing where players are. If there are a couple of uncommitted people, I’m going to see where they are.”
