With the USC Trojans' success on and off the field, Southern California isn’t exactly up for grabs when it comes to recruiting, but the Washington Huskies coaching staff is doing its best to change that.
Washington received a commitment from offensive tackle Poasi Moala (Moreno Valley, Calif./Rancho Verde) on Friday. The 6-foot-5, 270-pound Moala is Washington’s fourth commitment from Southern California and added to a big day for the Huskies, who capitalized on having several unofficial visitors on campus for the Rising Stars Camp.
Moala held offers from much of the Pac-12, including Arizona, Arizona State, Oregon State, UCLA, Washington and Washington State, but felt comfortable enough at this point to commit to the Huskies.
