The UCLA Bruins received a commitment from linebacker Cameron Judge (Westlake Village, Calif./Oaks Christian) on Monday, but that wasn't the only movement they made with linebacker recruiting. After a good showing at the Bruins camp on Sunday, 2014 linebacker Dwight Williams (Gardena, Calif./Serra) was told to give the UCLA coaching staff a call the following day. When he did, he was put on the phone with linebacker coach Jeff Ulbrich, who extended an offer.
"It was great," Williams said of receiving an offer from the local school. "It was good to get that.
UCLA joins Colorado as Williams' two early offers, but more could be on the way for the 6-foot, 186-pound athlete. He is going to try to camp with Oregon State this week and will attend USC's Rising Stars camp in late June. Williams said Ohio State has also started to reach out to him.
