The second time around, Rich Rodriguez made sure he got his man.
In 2011, As a senior at Cape Coral (Fla.) High School, Prince Holloway was recruited by Rodriguez as the head coach of the Wolverines and seemed certain to wind up at Michigan. But grades pushed Holloway to Hutchinson (Kan.) Community College after graduating, and Rodriguez found his way to Arizona as the head coach of the Wildcats.
Now, the two are on a collision course again, as Holloway confirmed his commitment to Arizona.
"I'm very familiar with the coaches there, and I've been talking with them since high school," Holloway said, confirming that Rodriguez was a big reason why he selected the Wildcats.
A seemingly perfect fit as a slot receiver in the Wildcats offense, Holloway is the seventh commitment for Arizona in the 2013 class and the seventh slated for the offensive side of the ball. He has not visited Arizona yet, but said he plans to do so in the future.
In high school, Holloway held offers from Indiana, Rutgers, West Virginia and Michigan.
