Offensive lineman Cedrick Poutasi (Las Vegas/Desert Pines) committed recently to Utah but will take one last official visit to a school that led early on in the process.
Poutasi took visits to Arizona State and Washington in addition to Utah and was considered a huge lean to the Utes for most of the season. One school who he was very high on early was Oregon. In fact, back in September, the lineman said if the Ducks offered a scholarship he would commit on the spot.
“That was a long time ago,” Poutasi said. “They waited so long to offer that I almost felt like a backup plan for a while there. I’m still excited about the visit and Oregon has a great program. I was excited when they did offer and I’m going to take this visit with an open mind and see how it goes.”
