Inglewood (Calif.) defensive back Devian Shelton visited Nebraska over the weekend. He was set to visit to Tennessee this coming week, but a scheduling quirk will now have the corner headed to Washington instead.
Shelton committed recently to Oregon State but always planned to take a few official visits. The trip to Nebraska made a very positive impact on him.
“I loved it there; it was a great trip,” Shelton said. "I can’t decide if it was my best trip or not, because I loved Oregon State, but I had a great time. There is so much football tradition at Nebraska, but I learned a lot about the academics as well. They have produced more academic All-Americans than anyone, and I never would have thought that.
