Athlete Davonte Neal (Scottsdale, Ariz./Chaparral) took his second official visit of the year this past weekend to Ohio State. Neal had previously visited Notre Dame.
Neal considered the trip somewhat of a coming home party, as he was born in Ohio and lived there until he was seven.
“The last time I saw Ohio State, I think I was in the second grade,” Neal said. “I really liked it there. It felt familiar, but there has also been a ton of changes. I think what stood out most was the academic center and the support the players get from the tutors and counselors. They keep the football players accountable and that’s important to me. I loved the campus, and the new dorms they’re building are real nice.
