Los Angeles (Calif.) Dorsey wideout Jaydon Mickens was set to visit Washington State this weekend, but a recent offer from an emerging Big 12 power has altered those plans.
“I just got an offer from Oklahoma State,” Mickens said. “They offered me earlier today (Tuesday), and I was really excited about that one. I guess they saw me in the Semper Fi All-American game and were impressed enough to offer.
“I don’t know a lot about them, except they’re a big-time program with a great passing offense in a big-time conference. Washington State is cool, but I didn’t really know anyone else going there, and Pullman is kind of a small town. Stillwater is similar, but at least I have family in Oklahoma so I think it would be a better fit.”
