Mission Viejo (Calif.) offensive lineman Colby Cyburt took his first official visit this past weekend to UCLA and said the Bruins made a good impression.
“I had an awesome trip,” Cyburt said. “I went up to UCLA last month when Coach [Jim L.] Mora was just hired and I’ve been there a bunch of times before as well. This visit being an official was way better. I got to see the campus more in depth, I had a lot of questions answered I got to know the coaching staff a lot better.
“I mainly hung out with Coach Mora and Coach [Adrian] Klemm and they were great with me. They spent a lot of time talking about the new direction the program was going in and how they want to use me. They don’t have many tackles on the roster so they said I would have a chance to play early there, and that’s a huge opportunity for me.”
