Athlete Bryan Harper(Ontario, Calif./Colony) committed to Washington last June but said he’s open to taking his visits and was just offered by a local favorite on Wednesday.
Harper is a two-way standout who most schools like as a cornerback. He committed to the Huskies over offers from Arizona, Arizona State, Colorado, Colorado State, Montana and New Mexico State.
“UCLA just offered me,” Harper said. “I’m still solid to the Dawgs but I’m very interested in UCLA. That’s the local school and I camped there in the summer and really liked the campus and the coaches a lot.
“Last night, Coach [Rick] Neuheisel called me up and told me how much they liked me and said they were offering a scholarship. He’s a real cool guy and I’m going to give them a look. I’m going to take some trips and I’m looking at some other schools too. Arizona State and Colorado are still recruiting me so we’ll see how it goes.”
