Deforest Buckner (Honolulu, Hawaii, Punahou) took his first official visit to Oregon over the weekend, and the Ducks are in a very good spot for the talented rush end.
Buckner, the No. 2 player in Hawaii, has tried several times before to visit Oregon and finally made it out to Eugene.
“It was definitely worth it, I loved it there,” Buckner said. “I loved everything from the incredible facilities to the academic center. It’s not just about football at Oregon, they get incredible support academically, and you have to try to fail out basically. Another highlight was watching the team practice. I love the pace they play at, everything is fast and up tempo.
