Colorado came in for a home visit Thursday night with defensive end Kisima Jagne (Chandler, Ariz./Chandler) and left with a commitment from the pass-rusher.
Jagne also visited Arizona State and tripped to Boulder in early November. He was hoping to visit Oklahoma State in January as well before making a commitment.
“I really liked it at Colorado,” Jagne said. “I took a visit there in the summer and felt comfortable with everything and then loved my official visit. It was cold, but I can handle it. The team is on the rise and I’m excited to be a part of helping turn the program around. Being able to play right away was a big deal as well.
“Some other schools were talking about redshirting me but Colorado wants me to play right away. Coach [Kanavis] McGhee was the coach who was recruiting me and he came in for the home visit and we get along well. Coach Embree will be coming by next week and like him a lot as well. I just felt Colorado was the best fit for me and I’m very excited to be a Buff.”
Jagne was also offered by Arizona, Arizona State, Michigan State, Oklahoma State, Purdue, Washington and Washington State.
