Junior WR follows pal to Ole Miss
Ole Miss has secured a pledge from 2014 wide receiver Dayall Harris (Jackson, Miss./Callaway), multiple sources report. His high school teammate, safety Ronald Walker, announced for the Rebels in December.
“I decided to commit because Ron had committed earlier,” Harris told the Jackson (Miss.) Clarion-Ledger. “We always talked about going to school together.”
Ole Miss was the first school to offer the 6-foot-3, 185-pound prospect. Mississippi State and Southern Miss were among the other programs expressing interest.
The Clarion-Ledger adds that Ole Miss isn't finished pursing 2014 prospects from Callaway. ESPN Watch List offensive lineman Rod Taylor and defensive end Breeland Speaks also hold scholarship offers from the Rebels.
Ole Miss has five early verbals for its 2014 class.
