Christian Morris has a new top two

By Dave Hooker

Christian Morris thought the school he was visiting would be dull. Not so.

The offensive lineman from Memphis (Tenn.) East spoke glowingly of his official visit to Ole Miss last weekend. It was far from what he expected.

"I thought I wouldn't fit in and thought it was boring, but it wasn't," the 6-foot-6, 293-pound offensive tackle said.

Morris found Oxford, Miss., to be quite inviting, so much so that he's eliminated Tennessee, which he was previously considering. He said he'll decide between the Rebels and UCLA, where he committed in July, before signing his national letter of intent on Wednesday, national signing day.

While most signs point to UCLA, there's reason to think that Ole Miss could pull a last-second switch. The Rebels' class is already impressive and they will most likely secure more top prospects on signing day.

Ole Miss is less than a 90-minute drive from Memphis. However, Morris has long expressed a desire to play on the West Coast.
