Two prospects cancel visits to Tennessee
By Dave Hooker
Tennessee will be two prospects short this weekend.
Offensive tackle Christian Morris and center Bobby Billingsley from Memphis (Tenn.) East will not take their unofficial visits to Tennessee as previously planned, Morris confirmed Friday morning. Morris has said he is down to UCLA -- the school he committed to in July -- and Tennessee.
The Volunteers have made a strong push for Morris since Butch Jones took over the program in December. However, Morris said earlier this week that he is still committed to the Bruins as he continues to evaluate Tennessee. Billingsley has expressed strong interest in Ole Miss. It's unclear if he currently has an offer from Tennessee.
The Vols will still have an impressive group on campus. Icy conditions in East Tennessee could affect the list, but here is who is expected to be in town:
S Vonn Bell from Rossville (Ga.) Ridgeland: Considering Tennessee, Alabama and Ohio State
LB Zach Cunningham from Pinson (Ala.) Valley: Considering Tennessee, Oregon and Auburn among others
QB Joshua Dobbs from Alpharetta (Ga.) High: Arizona State commitment
