ESPN 300 Moore ready to announce - again
By Dave Hooker
Kailo Moore didn't stay de-committed long. The ESPN 300 running back from Rosedale (Miss.) West Bolivar will announce his college decision Friday.
Kailo Moore rushed for more than 2,500 yards as a sophomore and 1,500 yards as a junior.
Moore, the No. 4 prospect in Mississippi, said he will hold a press conference to unveil his new commitment on Friday at 11 a.m. ET. The 5-foot-10, 190-pound prospect told ESPN he will chose between Vanderbilt, Alabama and Ole Miss.
Moore was committed to Mississippi State until last week when he suddenly changed his mind, partly because his primary recruiter, Melvin Smith, left State to join Auburn's staff.
Moore said shortly after his de-commitment that he still would consider the Bulldogs, but based on his trio of finalists that is no longer the case. Moore was scheduled to take an official visit to Mississippi State on Jan. 18. He said he likely won't make that trip.
Ole Miss makes the most sense of the final three. Moore showed strong interest in the in-state school. He is scheduled to take an official visit to Oxford on Jan. 25. Vanderbilt and Alabama only recently started to show interest, Moore told ESPN last week.
Moore is rated the No. 229 prospect in the nation and the No. 19 running back. He ran for 1,378 yards and 17 touchdowns last season.
