The offensive tackle from Memphis (Tenn.) East will visit UCLA this weekend to learn more about the school he committed to in July. Sure, Morris wants to see the Bruins play USC.
But he also wants to convince teammate Bobby Billingsley that Los Angeles is the right place for him. So will he be able to convince his good friend during their visit this weekend?
"Yes sir," Morris stated via text message to ESPN. "Without a doubt."
Morris visited UCLA's campus last summer when visiting Southern California for a football camp. That's when he received his scholarship offer.
Since then he's become well educated about the school. When asked what he hoped to learn this weekend about the Bruins, Morris stated, "I've really already learned enough but I want to see their tempo up close against a good opponent like USC."
Morris has received plenty of additional college interest since committing to UCLA. Ole Miss, Nebraska and Oklahoma have been some of the strongest in pursuit.
"I'm pretty solid but I'm always open," Morris stated when asked about his commitment to UCLA.
