Eight programs have already offered 2014 prospect Lorenzo Carter (Norcross, Ga./Norcross), making the 6-foot-6, 225-pound defensive end one of the most coveted juniors in Georgia. He was in Athens last weekend to watch the University of Georgia take on FAU.
Carter was surprised with what he saw.
"It went well," Carter said. "Everything at Georgia was good and I had fun up there. I was not expecting that many people to show up for such a small game versus Florida Atlantic. The fans came out and supported the team like it was an SEC rivalry game, and the players played like it was an SEC game."
