Four-star defensive back Sojourn Shelton (Plantation, Fla./Plantation) and three-star wide receiver Dionte Taylor (Davie, Fla./University) had planned to visit Nebraska together this weekend but have pushed the trip back and will work on a future date.
Shelton, who has already taken an official visit to Wisconsin, might choose another date soon -- possibly Sept. 29 when Nebraska hosts Wisconsin for homecoming.
"I'm not totally sure yet," Shelton said. "I was supposed to go with D.J. but he didn't want to do it this weekend because University played Cocoa and he wouldn't get back from that trip until early Saturday morning.
"I understand and I'm going to make a new date, not sure if he'll be able to go too or we have to go separately."
As for Taylor he's already got the Sept. 29 reserved for a trip to Boston College with his parents.
"I'm definitely going to BC on [Sept. 29] and I'm probably going to announce my new date for the Nebraska trip on Tuesday," Taylor said. "I just got off the phone with coach [Terry] Joseph to talk about that."
Taylor also may have more schools lined up in the near future.
"Illinois and Missouri have been recruiting me hard and they have offered so I'm thinking about them too," Taylor added.
Shelton's timetable might be a little shorter than Taylor's as the 5-foot-8, 165-pound senior will graduate in December and enroll in his new program January.
