North Carolina State received a verbal commitment from sleeper linebacker Quinton Patterson (Shelby, N.C./Crest), multiple sources report.
Patterson's high school coach Mark Barnes told the Shelby Star:
"Quinton likes State, and they were the first one to offer him. He likes coach [Jon] Tenuta. It was a good fit for him."
