Four-star, ESPN 300 dual-threat quarterback Cord Sandberg (Bradenton, Fla./Manatee) has committed to suit up for Mississippi State, multiple sources report.
"I wanted to play football in the SEC," Sandberg told the Commercial Appeal. "That was important to me. I know what Coach Mullen has done with other quarterbacks and I wanted to be a part of that."
Auburn, Arizona, Iowa State, Western Kentucky, LSU, Missouri, North Carolina, Clemson, Vanderbilt, Baylor, West Virginia, Central Florida, Cincinnati, Illinois, and Texas Tech also extended scholarship offers to the 6-foot-2, 200-pound signal-caller.
