It is not often the Hurricanes will go after a prospect in Ohio. They may want to start doing it more often, as Miami (Fla.) leads for Cincinnati Moeller offensive tackle Alex Gall.
Gall revealed his top eight Thursday night in a text message to ESPN.com. In order, Gall's top group consists of Miami (Fla.), Wisconsin, Kentucky, West Virginia, Indiana, Cincinnati, Pittsburgh and Duke.
"Well I just like the way the direction the coaches are taking the program and the need for linemen," Gall wrote. "I also have a great relationship with [offensive line] Coach [Art] Kehoe."
