CHARLOTTE, N.C. - Anthony Covington has strong ties to Atlanta but not strong enough to put Georgia Tech in the lead for his services.
The defensive back from Charlotte (N.C.) Mallard Creek once lived in Atlanta and visited Tech's campus several times when his family lived in the area. He is now starting to evaluate them as a high school prospect.
“They're academics are right on point,” Covington said. “Their football team is coming along.”
