Plantation (Fla.) defensive back Sojourn Shelton helped the South Florida Express Elite win the IMG Madden Football 7-on-7 regional tournament in late March and the 5-foot-9, 170-pound junior is expected to bring his talents to Tallahassee in a year.
But until signing day, expect Shelton to continue to talk to other programs.
"I'm happy with Florida State and that's where I hope to end up," Shelton said. "But recruiting is a process and it's important not to close any doors. Still I talk to the FSU coaches like Coach [Eddie] Gran and Coach [Mark] Stoops and everything is good."
