South Carolina made strong impressions on several key prospects this weekend.
The Gamecocks coaches have apparently tabbed Connor Mitch from Raleigh (N.C.) Wakefield as a possible quarterback of the future. Mitch was offered a scholarship during a visit to Columbia on Saturday.
“I liked it a lot,” Mitch said. “Had a good time.”
