Chris Moody (McDonough, Ga./Henry County) visited the Commodores this weekend and left committed to James Franklin and Vanderbilt.
"I did commit," said Chris Moody via Facebook message. "I did it because I wanted to be a part of something special. Everybody there gives me the family feeling. Coach (James) Franklin and his staff are great. I feel as if the talent there can help us be great for the future. You also hope this helps Georgia take over Nashville."
Moody, 6-foot-1 and 190 pounds, visited USF and UCF last week. He was supposed to visit South Carolina next weekend (1-27). He's the No. 36-ranked athlete in the country. Moody is projected as a quarterback or safety at the next level.
