Perseverance paid off for Dabo Swinney and Clemson when it came to four-star guard Tyrone Crowder (Rockingham, N.C./Richmond).
The No. 125 prospect in the ESPN 150 committed to Clemson over Georgia on signing day. Crowder began hearing from the Clemson staff back during his freshman season. The 6-foot-1, 325-pound Under Armour All-American had offers from some of the country’s elite programs.
Crowder is only the second offensive lineman in the Tigers’ 2013 class.
