Mississippi State picked up a big commitment on Tuesday who plans to help both the basketball and football team.
Wenonah (Ala.) High School basketball coach Cedric Lane tweeted that his star player, 6-foot-6 De’Runnya Wilson, committed to the Bulldogs and plans to play both basketball and football when he gets to Starkville.
“S/O to Wenonah’s De’Runnya ‘Bear’ Wilson. He will be taking his talents to Mississippi State to play basketball and football next season. #proud,” tweeted Lane.
Wilson is Mississippi State’s 23rd commitment for 2013 and sixth from the state of Alabama. He also had offers from Auburn, Kentucky and Louisville.
