Late-rising prospect Cethan Carter (Metairie, La./Archbishop Rummel) announced his commitment to Nebraska Thursday night on Twitter.
Carter, projected as a tight end in college, could not be immediately reached for comment.
The 6-foot-4, 240-pound Carter completed his senior season without a scholarship offer, helping lead Rummel to a Louisiana 5A championship last month. His stock skyrocketed as the Huskers offered, followed by an opportunity to greyshirt at LSU and enroll for the spring of 2014.
