Joe Craig was a Clemson signee as an athlete coming out of Gaffney, S.C., in 2010.
He wound up at Copiah-Lincoln Junior College instead, but is working his way back to Division I, and possibly a BCS-level, program.
Craig, a speedy, 5-foot-10, 170-pound wide receiver/kick returner, said he will sign Wednesday after a quick whirlwind of visits. He said he has offers from Memphis, Cincinnati, Iowa State, Middle Tennessee and Troy. He visited three of those schools in the last seven days.
