Cordarrelle Patterson (Hutchinson, Kansas/Hutchinson CC) is one of the most coveted of all the junior college prospects in the nation. Some regard the wide receiver as the top juco recruit, regardless of position. This weekend he was in Athens on an official visit to the University of Georgia.
“That was my second visit to Georgia,” Patterson said. “I went there over the summer. It was a good trip. I can’t say much other than I really like all the coaches and players. To me, that’s what stands out with the Dawgs.”
Patterson, 6-foot-3 and 205 pounds, has already visited both Auburn and Tennessee. What does he have in mind for his two additional visits?
“I am considering quite a few schools but I am not sure yet as to who I will visit.”
Patterson, from Rock Hill, S.C., scored 24 touchdowns this season for Hutchinson.
