Tyler (Texas) Junior College wide receiver Jeremey Chappelle is set to continue his career in the SEC for Mississippi State, according to multiple sources. He was on campus this weekend for an official visit.
Chappelle took additional official visits to Texas A&M (no offer, Nov. 23) and Louisiana Tech (Nov. 30). Hawaii, Houston, Middle Tennessee, Southern Miss and West Virginia were his other offers.
Chappelle is the third junior college prospect to select the Bulldogs for 2013, joining wide receiever De'Vante Scott (Wesson, Miss./Copiah-Lincoln) and safety Justin Cox (West Point, Miss./East Mississippi CC).
Mississippi State, which currently holds the nation's No. 27 recruiting class, has 21 pledges.
