Another talented Friendship duo surfaces

Get ready for the next wave of talented prospects to come out of Washington (D.C.) Friendship.
Junior safety Daejuan Funderburk and sophomore offensive lineman Quavez Boulware are already receiving strong college interest, according to Friendship coach Aazaar Abdul-Rahim. Several schools have visited Friendship to lay early groundwork for the two up-and-coming prospects, namely Michigan, Ohio State, Virginia, Vanderbilt, Maryland and North Carolina.
"There's been a lot lately," Abdul-Rahim said with a chuckle when asked what college recruiters have recently visited.
