November is a busy month for Will Grier.
First, the junior quarterback from Davidson (N.C.) Day visited his in-state college, North Carolina, on Nov. 3. Then, he threw for 837 yards in a semifinal playoff game last Friday. Now, he's preparing for a state championship game.
Despite the understood importance of a possible passing record and a pending state title, the visit to see North Carolina will likely have the longest-lasting effect on Grier, an ESPN Watch List prospect. Not surprisingly, the Tar Heels under first-year head coach Larry Fedora have made Grier one of the top priorities in their 2014 class.
