Two arch-rivals decided to evaluate the same prospect on the same night last week. Clemson and South Carolina were in attendance for a game Nov. 2 to see Braxton Berrios, the Class of 2014 receiver from Raleigh (N.C.) Leesville.
The two schools are interested but evidently have differing opinions on the junior prospect. South Carolina has offered Berrios a scholarship. Clemson has not.
"They have hinted a lot, just haven't pulled the trigger," the 5-foot-10, 170-pound prospect said.
