Fans of Charlotte (N.C.) Christian are hoping Jeb Blazevich doesn't visit Clemson this weekend.
It's not that the football faithful at the school want Blazevich to ignore college recruiting; they just want him to postpone this one particular trip. Why? Because the ESPN Watch List tight end will only go to Clemson if he loses his state title game on Friday. Otherwise he'll stay in town to soak in the victory.
"Only if we lost state championship," Blazevich stated via text message when asked if he planned to visit Clemson this weekend, "God willing I won't be."
Just a junior, Blazevich has already visited several schools. The 6-foot-5, 240-pound prospect's most recent visit was to Ohio State last weekend. Clemson is certainly in play for Blazevich, whether he visits this weekend or not.
