Michael O'Connor took the weekend off from recruiting. That won't last long.
The sophomore quarterback told ESPN that he will visit Vanderbilt on Nov. 17 for the Tennessee game. The 2015 prospect from Chattanooga (Tenn.) Baylor has a scholarship offer from the Commodores. He also has scholarship offers from Arkron, Buffalo, Michigan State, Mississippi State and Toledo.
O'Connor has shown strong interest in Alabama, telling ESPN he thought he'd be a good fit in the Crimson Tide's offense. O'Connor said he will visit Tuscaloosa this spring to be evaluated in hopes of receiving a scholarship offer.
O'Connor's recruitment will likely move fast. He said he'd like to make a decision next spring or summer in order to help his future team recruit other prospects.
