With several programs in Palm Beach, Broward and Miami-Dade counties playing games it will be a case of wait-and-see on Thursday night, as Miami hosts Virginia Tech in a game which could decide the ACC Coastal Division.
With Miami Christopher Columbus on a bye there’s a good chance the running back tandem of Daryl Chestnut and Lorenzo Woodley will be in the house Thursday. Woodley said Miami has been reaching out to him more in recent weeks. The 5-foot-10, 190-pound senior doesn’t have an offer but does like the hometown school.
“I like Miami because they are the home team,” Woodley said. “But they have some backs committed in this class so we’ll see.”
