ESPN 300 wide receiver Richard Benjamin (Tampa, Fla./Tampa Bay Tech) said that he was looking for something different during his official visit to Purdue on Oct. 13. The 6-foot, 190-pound senior said he wanted to see what things were like away from the Florida schools.
And while Benjamin said it was very different, it was also a welcome change.
"I liked the school; it was different from all the Florida schools,” Benjamin said. “Just the look of the school, the diversity, the people, the students, the fans, they are much different than the fans at the Florida schools. During the games they stand the whole time.”
