LAKELAND, Fla. -- Three-star wide receiver Eric Carter (Lakeland, Fla./Lake Gibson) took an official visit to Minnesota earlier in the month, and the 5-foot-11, 175-pound senior said the Golden Gophers made a strong impression on him.
“It was a wonderful visit and it’s a great, supportive school because they just love their sports teams,” Carter said. “You see the hockey and basketball players showing the football players love, and then the football players show the hockey team love, and they all go to all the games.
“Right away you feel like you’re a part of a family, a part of a group of people that just want to see each other do well.”
