Zac Wright's weight room work is starting to pay off on the recruiting trail.
The junior defensive end is seeing interest from several schools, including Tennessee, Clemson, Vanderbilt, Arkansas State and Colorado, according to an email from Wright's family. The 6-foot-2, 235-pound Wright is scheduled to visit Tennessee, Clemson and Arkansas State later this fall.
Wright has proven to be the strongest player for Sparta (Tenn.) White County. During a June max workout, Wright bench-pressed 320 pounds, squatted 455 and power cleaned 245. The bench press and squat total were tops on his team.
