Defensive tackle Antonio Guerad (Tampa, Fla./Tampa Bay Tech) committed to UCF on Wednesday after the Knights extended him an offer earlier in the day.
The 6-foot-4, 250-pound senior chose UCF over Kentucky and Cincinnati. He becomes the 12th member of the recruiting class of 2013.
“The program offered today but I have been looking at them for a while and they have been looking at me for a while,” Guerad said. “I took an unofficial visit there a couple of weeks ago to watch them play Florida International and I loved the campus and the people around there.”
