ESPN 150 defensive tackle Keith Bryant (Delray Beach, Fla./Atlantic) was on the move Saturday and didn’t have much time to talk.
“I’m heading to watch the Miami game right now,” he said. “I haven’t seen them live yet this year so I’m pretty excited.”
What does the 6-foot-1, 295-pound senior think about the school he committed to this year?
“They are winning ball games and that’s the most important thing,” Bryant said. “It’s obvious they are pretty young on defense and there are plenty of opportunities for linemen to step in and play. I talk to the coaches on the staff pretty often, so everything is good.”
While he's committed to UM, Bryant said he'll take all five of his official visits, and he continues to hear from several of the nation's top programs.
“I hear from Florida State a lot still,” Bryant said. “I’ve been there before and I might go back again. I’m hearing from LSU, Southern Cal, Louisville, Auburn ... a whole bunch of schools, really.”
Bryant isn’t sure when he’s going to take officials. He might wait until after his senior year ends.
“I am really trying to do some things with my high school program right now,” Bryant said. “We won Friday so we’re 3-2 right now but we can still get better.
“As the season comes to a close I’ll probably look into the visits more and see what I need to see.”
