Ashton Shumpert to take SEC official visit

Ashton Shumpert will take his official visit to Georgia this weekend, the ESPN 300 athlete told ESPN on Wednesday.
It's hardly a surprise that Shumpert will take his first official visit to Athens, Ga. He spoke highly of the Bulldogs just last week, saying he grew up a fan of the program.
“Just learn a little bit about them and get to know the coaches,” the four-star prospect from Fulton (Miss.) Itawamba said this week when asked what he'd like to learn from the trip.
