Leggett is legit
South Miami (Fla.) four-star defensive back Amos Leggett is often a forgotten name in Miami’s recruiting Class of 2012 but the 6-foot-1, 185-pounder showed exactly how good he is in Thursday’s 37-21 playoff victory over Dr. Krop (Miami, Fla.).
Leggett, playing quarterback and defensive back, threw a perfect touchdown pass in the first half and recorded two interceptions. He returned both picks for touchdowns but one was called back on a hold.
